I Love Coffee!
My name’s Duncan and I am a total coffee lunatic. That's why my nickname is "Javahead Jones." I’ve got a pretty boring job for an ad agency in London, a job that gives me plenty of time and opportunity to savor coffee in all its marvelous forms.
Coffee isn’t my only life’s pursuit – I’m also a football fan (what red-blooded Brit isn’t?), particularly when Tottenham is on the telly and I’ve got a growler of my favorite IPA in stock. I even get a chance to go to a live Hot Spurs game from time to time, though it’s getting more difficult now that I’ve got two young kids. Sometimes, a football match isn’t the best place for the young’uns.
I wanted to open a site dedicated to my favorite beverage as a way to pay homage to it and as a recreational activity. I plan to use this page both to store links to my favorite coffee pages and to chronicle my adventures in coffee sampling. If you have a topic you think I should cover, or want to make a coffee suggestion, that’s what the comments section is for.
I look forward to developing this, my very first personal website, and to interacting with other coffee lovers. In the meantime, my job keeps me pretty busy during the day, and my family takes up a lot of my time in the evenings. But I still manage to sample a fair amount of coffee and tea. As a matter of fact, I think I hear the kettle calling my name right now.
